The Arc Employment:
The Arc is a national organization that advocates for and provides services for individuals with disabilities. As a part of their roster of services, they offer transition planning, employment training and supported employment services. With over seven hundred branches, there is an Arc in each state and many counties have their own local branch.
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR):

Autism Speaks Family Services Employment Kit:
Autism Speaks created this Employment Kit to help individuals with autism with their employment search. It has valuable tools and tips for finding a job. This employment kit can actually be used by any individual with a disability. Adults on the autism spectrum, have strengths and abilities that employers are just beginning to understand. Therefore, this guide helps an individual on the autism spectrum research, find and keep employment in the current, competitive labor market. The Autism Speaks Employment Tool Kit is the culmination of a process that began with the Autism Speaks Employment Think Tank in June 2012, which captured the current state of employment for adults with autism.
The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is the leading source of free, expert, and confidential guidance on workplace accommodations and disability employment issues. Working toward practical solutions that benefit both employer and employee, JAN helps people with disabilities enhance their employability, and shows employers how to capitalize on the value and talent that people with disabilities add to the workplace.
JAN’s trusted consultants offer one-on-one guidance on workplace accommodations, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related legislation, and self-employment and entrepreneurship options for people with disabilities. Assistance is available both over the phone and online. Those who can benefit from JAN’s services include private employers of all sizes, government agencies, employee representatives, and service providers, as well as people with disabilities and their families.
The US Business Leadership Network® (USBLN®) is a national non-profit that helps business drive performance by leveraging disability inclusion in the workplace, supply chain, and marketplace. This site identifies employers who excel in hiring individuals with disabilities. Job coaches should be familiar with this cite and many aren’t.
